The MECO SDHX033 is a extra heavy duty self-dumping hopper with a 1/3 cubic yard capacity and a 6,000 lb load capacity. Built from 7 gauge steel with a 7 gauge base, it's designed for handling heavy, bulky scrap, in-process materials, castings, wood and metal chips, recyclables, and sludge in demanding industrial environments.

Hoppers are designed for forklift handling and tip forward automatically at the correct fork height for complete discharge of contents, then return to the upright position. A positive locking latch prevents accidental dumping. Ships fully assembled in high-visibility orange enamel finish. Available in orange or gray enamel (add suffix "–G" to model number for gray finish).

• Extra Heavy Duty (SDHX) — 7 ga. steel / 7 ga. base — up to 6,000 lb capacity — for the most demanding environments
• Heavy Duty (SDHH) — 10 ga. steel / 7 ga. base — up to 4,000 lb capacity — for high-volume industrial use
• Medium Duty (SDHM) — 12 ga. steel / 7 ga. base — up to 2,000 lb capacity — for lighter applications

Compatible Caster Kits

Add mobility to your hopper with a set of 4 casters. The following kits are compatible with this hopper based on its 6,000 lb capacity:

Note: This hopper has a 6,000 lb capacity. Only caster kits rated at or above this capacity are listed above. Verify your selected kit's capacity before ordering.

Hinged Lids

Hinged lids are available for all MECO self-dumping hoppers and must be factory installed — contact us before ordering if you need a lid. Note that hoppers with lids are not stackable, and the addition of a lid may alter the tipping operation. Available in orange or gray enamel. Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

This hopper ships fully assembled via freight from MECO Omaha's facility in Omaha, NE (FOB Omaha, NE). A forklift or suitable lifting device is required on-site to unload. Standard liftgate service is not available.
